Where are your servers located?

We have servers in the UK (Coventry) and USA (New Jersey). UK and EU customers are hosted on our UK servers, and US customers on our US servers. We only use enterprise level facilities with 24/7 remote hands available at all times should we need them. All of our locations use premium bandwidth carriers giving you the quickest response times possible. You can read more information on the datacentres that we use here.

What CPU and RAM limits are placed on accounts?

D9 One and D9 Max accounts are limited to 1 vCPU core, 1 GB of RAM and 4 MB/s disk I/O. We find these limits provide the perfect balance between website performance and server stability. For users that need more, D9 Super Max gives each account 2 vCPU cores, 4 GB of RAM and 100 MB/s disk I/O, and D9 One + (offered when you order D9 One) gives a single website 2 GB of RAM and three times faster disk speeds. If you do find you need more resources than our shared plans provide then it's likely you would benefit from moving to a VPS or Dedicated Server.

Do you really provide unlimited disk space?

Yes! But we do require you to adhere to our fair use policy and utilize the disk space in relation to the running of a "normal" personal or small business website.

Normal usage means that you operate a personal or small/medium business website that utilizes resources in a manner similar to our other shared hosting customers. As an example, the hosting requirements of a website streaming thousands of multimedia files are not the same as those of personal/small business websites and their resource requirements would not be considered normal for our shared hosting plan. A further example would be the storage of large numbers of multimedia, or ZIP files that are not associated with your website. Our shared hosting plan must not be used as an online storage/backup solution, all hosted files must be associated with your website.

There is also a limit of 200,000 inodes (files) per cPanel account to prevent file system degradation. You can view your inode usage at any time from within your control panel.
